Meeting between Minister Stefanović and managers of defence industry factories

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has met today with the managers of the defence industry factories - "Prvi Partizan", Užice, "Milan Blagojević-Namenska", Lučani, "Krušik" Holding Corporation, Valjevo and "Sloboda", Čačak.
Minister Stefanović talked to the factory managers about improving the efficiency of their manufacturing business and the development projects they are working on in collaboration with the Serbian Armed Forces and our military institutes.

It was announced at the meeting that one of the new weapons developed by local experts would be tested at the "Pasuljanske Livade" military range this week.

The Minister of Defence noted that on Saturday night, a joint tactical exercise "Fire Shield 2022" had been carried out at the "Pasuljanske Livade" military range, showing that Serbia has armed forces that are both highly trained and well-equipped.
"Our troops delivered fire using more than 100 combat means, many of which are products of domestic intelligence and local factories. We continue to arm ourselves, develop our own assets, and invest in people in order to strengthen our armed forces, which are a powerful deterrent guaranteeing that our people will continue to live in peace and stability," said Stefanović.
