Soldiers performing voluntary military service in stationary camp
The class of March 2022, who are performing their voluntary military service, are in stationary camp in the SAF basic training centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
During this type of training, soldiers undergo tactical and weapons training in the field and thus acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for performing combat tasks in day and night defensive and offensive operations.The main focus is on practicing tactical actions and procedures on the battlefield, such as land navigation, observation, masking, movement in the field, and selection of appropriate shelters for cover and action. The soldiers are also conducting all the firing practices included in the training programme.
In the continuation of their military service, the soldiers will take a test evaluating their ability to perform individual tasks, and then be transferred to specialist training centres, where they will be trained to perform branch and service-specific assignments.
