Partnership with European Security and Defence College
The Serbian Armed Forces Peacekeeping Operations Centre has become an associate partner - member of the European Security and Defence College network, the European External Action Service body providing training and education in EU Common Security and Defence Policy.
The decision to grant the Peacekeeping Operations Centre a membership in the College network was made on March 25 at the board meeting, following the successful presentation of our Centre to the College's academic board in February this year.
The Peacekeeping Operations Centre’s partnership with the European Security and Defence College confirms the quality of training and preparations for participation in peacekeeping operations conducted in the Serbian Armed Forces, and this cooperation will increase the Centre’s visibility among European institutions and ensure the adjustment of training standards and training systems to meet the requirements of the EU missions and military operations.The Peacekeeping Operations Centre is a full member of the European and International Associations of Peacekeeping Training Centres, and is certified by the United Nations for delivering several peacekeeping training courses.
