President promotes SAF officers on occasion of SAF day
On occasion the Statehood Day the President of Serbia Boris Tadic promoted the following commanders appointing them to new duties.
1. Major General BOZIDAR FORCA as the new Chief of the Strategic Planning Department.
2. Brig. Gen. JOVANOVIC DANKO as Chief of the Logistics Department (G-4),
3. Brig. Gen. KOVAC MITAR as the Chief of the Department of Planning and Development . (G-5),
4. Colonel ZRNIC BOJAN as the Chief of the defense Technologies Department and
5. Colonel JANICIJEVIC SLAVOLJUB as the Chief of the ISR (Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance) affairs (G-2) and
6. Colonel ZEKOVIC GORAN as commander of the Central logistics base.
President promoted the following officers into the ranks of Brigadier General:

Chief of the Strategic Planning Department Bozidar Forca was born 6 January 1957 in Backa Palanka. He finished the Military Academy, infantry department in 1979.He graduated from the School of National Defense in 1997.
He took his MA degree in 1994, and his PhD in 2003.
He was at the post of the Chief of the Department of Planning and development as of 22 December 2006.
CHIEF OF LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT
Chief of the Logistics Department Brig. Gen. Danko Jovanovic was born on 17 December 1956 in Zvornik, graduating from the Technical Military Academy in 1982. he took his PhD degree in 2007. he has been on the post of the Defense Technologies Department Chief since 9 May 2008.CHIEF OF THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Chief of the Department of Planning and Development Brig. Gen. Mitar Kovac was born on 27 July 1959 in Kalinovik, he graduated from MA, artillery department in 1981, finished GS college in 2002, and took his PhD degree in 1996. Chief of the Defense Technologies Department Colonel Bojan Zrnic was born 18 October 1969 in Banja Luka. He graduated from the Technical Military Academy in 1992, and finished the Royal Defense College in the UK in 2007. he took his MA degree in 1998, and his PhD in electronics in 2001. He has been on the post of the Head of the Deputy Head of the Department for Planning and development as of 11 January 2008.CHIEF OF THE IRS AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT
Chief of the IRS affairs Department Colonel Slavoljub Janicijevic was born on 24 June 1961 in Plandiste. Commander of the CLB Colonel Goran Zekovic was born on 1 July 1962 in Uzice, he graduated from MA, artillery department, in 1997, and the School of National Defense in 2003. Brig. Gen. Branko Andric was born on 4 May 1960 in Pozega, he graduated from the Technical MA in 1983, GS college in 1998, and the National defense School in 2003. He has been at the post of the Chief of the Department for Organization as of 9 May 2008.
DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE MILITARY INTELLIGENCE
Deputy Director of the Military Intelligence Agency Brig. Gen. Dragan Vladisavljevic was born n 15 June 1962 in Batocina. He graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1985, GS college in 1996, and the National defense School in 2002. He has been at the post of the Deputy Director of the Military Intelligence Agency as of 17 July 2007.
CHIEF OF THE TRAINING COMMAND
Chief of the Training Command HQ Brig. Gen. Mladjen Nisevic was born on 14 January 1959 in Prijedor. He graduated from MA, armored units department in 1981, GS college in 1997 and the National defense School in 2001.
He has been at the post since 18 April 2007.
Chief of the General Logistics Department Brig. Gen. Srdjan Novakovic wsas born on 20 October 1958 in Bratunac. He graduated from the Military Academy in 1980, he tok his MA degree in military science in 2001, and his PhD in 2006.

COMMANDER OF THE SECOND ARMY BRIGADE
Commander of the Second Army Brigade Brig. Gen. Dusan Stoajnovic was born on 25 July 1961 in Leskovac, he graduated from MA, artillery department in 1984.
After finishing GS college in 1993, he finished the National Defense School in 2002. he has been on this post since 10 July 2002.
