Minister Stefanović pays tribute to killed police officer in Zaječar



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has laid flowers at the memorial to the fallen police officers in Zaječar, paying tribute to the killed police officer Ivan Đurđevac.
  "Ivan's death is a great tragedy for his family, but also for the whole of Serbia. We have lost a young, brave man, who laid down his life protecting the innocent. One of the silent heroes of our homeland has left us. They risk their own lives every day so that we can live safely. They never ask for a thank you for their great deeds, but call it a regular task. That is why we are obliged to always pay them great respect and to never forget those who sacrificed the most valuable thing they had, protecting their citizens", said Minister Stefanović.
