Expert meeting on Draft Law on Military Education held
The representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development have held an expert meeting to discuss the new Draft Law on Military Education. The meeting was held in the Omorika Hotel on the Tara Mountain from March 23 to 25. At the beginning of the month, Minister of Defence, Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Branko Ružić, arranged for the meeting to be organized.
In her opening speech, Assistant Minister for Human Resources Katarina Tomašević, emphasized the importance of this meeting and said that this type of cooperation between the two ministries is the best opportunity to exchange opinions and discuss proposed solutions for the new law. During the three-day expert meeting, four follow-up meetings were held.The expert meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Milica Ćatić, representatives of the Defence University, Serbian Armed Forces, Ministry of Defence Secretariat and Human Resources Sector, and Zoran Krčmar, the representative of the Sector for Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
