Remembrance Day for Victims of NATO Aggression marked
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, attended commemoration ceremony to mark the Remembrance Day for Victims of NATO Aggression held at the Air Force and Air Defence Command building in Zemun.
General Mojsilović, accompanied by Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović, Head of the Operations Department (J-3), Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, and Colonel Gordan Pavlović, Chief of Staff of the Air Force and Air Defence Command, laid a wreath at the memorial to fallen members of the Air Force and Air Defence of the Yugoslav Army.
Wreaths were also laid by Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Lieutenant General Duško Žarković, former commanders of this operational command, and representatives of local self-government, educational institutions and veterans’ associations.
The Remembrance Day for Victims of NATO Aggression was marked in the Serbian Armed Forces commands, units and military establishments in commemorations and wreath-laying ceremonies at memorials to killed members of the Armed Forces, and the Serbian Armed Forces took part in commemoration ceremonies at both state and local levels.
