Meeting between Minister Stefanović and Royal Norwegian Ministry of Defence delegation



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has met today with Kjersti Cristina Klæboe, Director General, Head of the Department of Personnel Policy, Competence and Joint Legal Services at the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Defence, who led the Norwegian delegation.
  Minister Stefanović thanked the Norwegian side for financial and expert help it has been providing to Serbia, particularly in the field of military medical cooperation and military education.
Minister Stefanović confirmed the commitment of the Republic of Serbia to the EU membership and emphasized Serbia’s dedication to regional cooperation.   
 
The interlocutors agreed that the relations between the two friendly countries show a positive trend and that there is potential to further improve bilateral defence cooperation.
Opportunities for cooperation between the two ministries on new projects of mutual interest were also discussed at today’s meeting.
