SAF aircraft conduct air to ground firing practice
The 98th Air Brigade aircraft and helicopter crews have conducted an air to ground firing practice at the "Pasuljanske livade" range.
Flight crews performed firings as part of their regular combat training, engaging ground targets using Mi-35 helicopters and Eagle fighter-bombers. Helicopter crews engaged targets at the firing range using guns and unguided rocket ammunition, and Eagle pilots used FAB 250 aerial bombs.
Very good and excellent firing results are proof of the flight crews' high level of competence, achieved thanks to the availability of aircraft and execution of comprehensive ground and air training.
Air to ground firing practices are an important segment of training conducted by the 98th Air Brigade and by doing them regularly, the air component's capability to provide fire support to Army units during operations is maintained and improved.
