Meeting between Chief of Serbian Armed Forces General Staff and KFOR Commander



Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, met with KFOR Commander, Major General Ferenc Kajári, in Belgrade today.  During the meeting, they discussed current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and joint activities undertaken by the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR with a view to preserve and promote peace and security in our southern province.
 
Referring to UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and the Military Technical Agreement, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff emphasized that KFOR, as the sole legitimate security actor in the province, is responsible for the security of people living in Kosovo and Metohija, freedom of movement and protection of Serbian national, cultural, historical and religious heritage.  General Kajári was visiting Belgrade at the invitation of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, and high-level meetings such as this contribute to the improvement of general security situation in the field and the security of our people in Kosovo and Metohija.
