Specialist reconnaissance training
Class of December 2021, who are undergoing reconnaissance training at the Army Training Centre, are currently doing intensive training at the "Rujnik" training ground and in the "General Pavle Jurišić Šturm" barracks in Niš.
This is a ten-week specialist phase of reconnaissance training, during which, soldiers are trained to collect intelligence and carry out special actions in the depth of enemy dispositions as part of reconnaissance groups and teams. 
In field settings, soldiers practice actions and procedures used during battlefield observation and data collection, learn to get their bearings and move across unknown terrain using a map, conduct live fire exercises using explosive ordnance and practice firing infantry weapons. 
The reconnaissance training is diverse and complex, so highly motivated, physically fit and mentally stable soldiers are selected for this specialty. The results achieved so far show that this generation of soldiers performing military service will provide a large pool of professional soldiers to choose from for the Serbian Armed Forces reconnaissance units.
