Support for mine action capacity development
Representatives of the U.S. Office for Defence Cooperation in Belgrade have donated valuable IT equipment to the Third Army Brigade’s 310th Engineer Battalion.
The donation is part of the project run by the U.S. Office for Defence Cooperation, aiming to improve Serbia’s capacity for humanitarian demining.
The equipment will be used to improve the quality of training for members of the Mine Action and UXO Disposal Detachment, and the training courses in demining for instructors and medical personnel.The donation is another step forward in the cooperation with the U.S. Armed Forces in humanitarian demining and it contributes to further improvement of the Serbian Armed Forces’ capacity to remove and destroy unexploded ordnance in accordance with international standards.
