IT Service Day marked
The IT Service Day and the Command and Information Systems and IT Support Centre Day were marked today at the Telecommunications and IT Department (J-6), Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
On this occasion, last year’s work results were summarized and the most deserving individuals were awarded prizes and incentive pays.
The celebration was an opportunity to emphasize the importance of IT Service for the provision of uninterrupted telecommunications and information security and protection, as well as the results achieved in the design and development of the telecommunications and information system in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.The IT Service Day and the Command and Information Systems and IT Support Centre Day are marked in memory of February 21, 1963, when the Sixth Department of the YNA General Staff was formed, to which the Data Processing Centre was subordinated.
