Military police battalion conducts tactical exercise “Operation 22“
Members of the Army military police battalion have conducted tactical exercise "Operation 22" this week at the "Rujnik" training area near Niš.
The command and unit personnel practiced planning, organization and completion of military police tasks during an anti-terrorism operation in real life situations. During several days of training, personnel’s familiarity with the principles of use of military police units and their equipment was assessed, as well as their cooperation with other Serbian Armed Forces compositions, defence system structures and civilian entities.
Using armoured combat vehicles and service dogs, unit members carried out military police tasks, such as securing the command post, providing protection to people, mass gathering management, and locating and destroying terrorist, sabotage and insurgent groups. The achieved results indicate the unit’s exceptional ability to perform their tasks. 
Tactical exercises are an important form of practical training conducted by the Serbian Armed Forces, and they increase the ability of commands and units to perform assigned missions and tasks.
