Minister Stefanović extends Chinese New Year greetings
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, sent New Year wishes to the Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission General Zhang Youxia, Minister of National Defense General Wei Fenghe and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia Chen Bo. Minister Stefanović extended to them his cordial wishes and expressed hope that the New Year will bring prosperity and well-being to the Chinese people with whom we foster brotherly relations.
"I extend my most cordial greetings to you, your family, associates and all compatriots and wish you a healthy, joyous and prosperous New Year. Serbia and China have traditionally good relations, especially in the field of defence, and I believe that we will develop them further in the new year, in the interest of both states and nations," says Minister Stefanović, among other things, in his message.On this occasion the Minister thanked the People’s Republic of China for providing invaluable assistance to Serbia in difficult times of the Covid-19 pandemic, thus proving for the umpteenth time that it is Serbia’s faithful friend.
“In the belief that we will continue to strengthen our friendship, I send you my most cordial wishes for the Lunar New Year and I hope that it brings prosperity to the Chinese people with whom we foster brotherly relations”, Minister Stefanović says.
