Minister of Defence extends congratulations on 72nd Special Operations Brigade Day
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of January 27 – the 72nd Special Operations Brigade Day, which reads:
“I extend my sincere congratulations to all members of the 72nd Special Operations Brigade on the occasion of January 27 – the Unit Day.
We are proud to have a unit such as the 72nd Brigade, whose members undergo the most difficult training and tests in order to become members of the Hawks and Griffins and remain a strong bulwark protecting Serbia at all times and in all situations, no matter how difficult they are. They make sure that the citizens of Serbia enjoy peaceful sleep knowing that their 72nd Brigade is protecting them.
Dear members of the 72nd Brigade, over the past year you have shown once again that you are an elite unit of the Serbian Armed Forces and what it means to be a soldier, dedicated and absolutely loyal to their fatherland. That is why we will continue investing even more heavily in your equipment, weapons and the best possible standard of living for you and your families.
I warmly congratulate you on your jubilee and I hope you will continue to successfully perform your tasks, as before, protecting the most sacred things – freedom and honour of our beloved Serbia.“
