Serbian Armed Forces Member Training on Trainers and Battlefield Simulator
The “South” Base near Bujanovac is the venue where an intensive training is being conducted for members of the Serbian Armed Forces for the execution of tasks of securing the Administrative Line with Kosovo and Metohija and control of the Ground Safety Zone.
The training is being executed on battlefield simulator, medical simulator and modern trainers for firing from infantry weapons that make the equipment of the Centre for unit training for multinational operations. In this way, with minimal expenditure of assets, a high level of soldiers’ competence is provided for the execution of combat and tactical tasks in the real environment.
The training on trainers and simulators represents a part of all-encompassing preparations and training of Serbian Armed Forces members for the engagement in the Ground Safety Zone, primarily on the prevention of illegal crossings, activities of extremist groups and organised crime.
Permanent training of Serbian Armed Forces members maintains and enhances their combat readiness for efficient realisation of tasks along the Administrative Line with Kosovo and Metohija, in cooperation with other security bodies of the Republic of Serbia and KFOR, in order to ensure peaceful and safe environment for all citizens in this part of Serbia.
