Winter Reconnaissance Training for Members of the Army
Members of the Army Armoured Reconnaissance Battalion have successfully completed their ski training and other winter training elements at the 51st ski training area on the mountain of Kopaonik.
Far from ski tracks, they carried out mountain survival training, movement on unknown terrain, 10 kilometre condition training, and they also practiced the procedures and tactical actions of reconnaissance patrol while gathering intelligence.
The training of reconnaissance units is executed throughout the year in all weather and terrain conditions, in order to maintain and improve the competence of members of reconnaissance to execute assigned tasks in depth of enemy formation.
