Chief of Hellenic National Defence General Staff’s visit
General Konstantinos Floros, Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, is on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia, at the invitation of General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
Today, General Floros has visited the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, where he talked to General Mojsilović about the current political and security situation in the region and the opportunities for further improvement of bilateral military cooperation.
During the talks, they both agreed that the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Hellenic Armed Forces is developed and characterized by constant quality and quantity improvement, which contributes to the development of operational capabilities, building trust and strengthening friendly relations.
Training activities and exercises were highlighted as the main areas of military to military cooperation, as well as the joint participation of the Serbian and Greek armed forces in the EU Battlegroup, led by Greece.
During his stay in the Republic of Serbia, General Konstatinos Floros has laid a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Hero on Mount Avala and had separate meetings with ministers of defence and foreign affairs, Nebojša Stefanović, PhD and Nikola Selaković.
