Soldiers of December 2021 generation begin training
Today, the youngest generation of military volunteers has begun their training in the training centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
The soldiers previously completed a period of adjustment, during which they were issued with personal weapons, learned about the basic rules of life and work in the Serbian Armed Forces, and prepared for the beginning of intensive training. Over the next five weeks, the new generation of soldiers will be trained in handling personal weapons, performing individual tactical actions and procedures in combat, doing drills and physical training, and getting acquainted with army regulations.
After completing the basic training, the soldiers will continue their military service in the specialist training centres, where they will be trained for occupational specialties within their branches and services, and then they will undergo collective training and be assigned to units where they will be involved in performing daily tasks.
Based on the experience with previous generations, once they complete their military service, many soldiers will enlist as active duty personnel, which is the result of the improvement of working conditions and status of members of the Serbian Armed Forces over the past period.
