Defence Minister’s congratulatory message on Veterans Day
On the occasion of December 4th – Veterans Day, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has sent a congratulatory message that reads:
“I extend my sincere congratulations to all veterans on December 4th – Veterans Day.
Dear veterans,
Continuing the tradition of ancient warriors of the Army of the Kingdom of Serbia with unwavering faith and hope, you defended the homeland and fought so that we, your descendants, can have a secure future and a better tomorrow. Thank you for that, but also for the exceptional courage, honour and heroism you have shown countless times.
The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces will always appreciate your deeds and the contribution you continue to make to the prosperity of our armed forces by sharing your knowledge and considerable experience with new generations of our service members.
I wish you a happy holiday and I promise that we will do our best to provide you with peace of mind, and that we will never give up the fight for the progress of our armed forces and our country in all fields.
