Sports meeting between Serbian and Hungarian officers
The traditional sports meeting between generals and high-ranking officers of the Serbian and Hungarian Armed Forces was held yesterday in Budapest.
The tenth football match between the members of the two armed forces was played in a friendly atmosphere, and this time luck was on the side of the Serbian team, who won the penalty shootout.
The host team was led by the Commander of the Hungarian Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, and our team was led by the Air Force and Air Defence Commander, Lieutenant General Duško Žarković.
Sports meetings between generals and high-ranking officers have been traditionally held since 2015, alternately in Serbia and Hungary, and are one of numerous joint activities undertaken by members of the two armed forces, which contribute to strengthening bilateral military cooperation, mutual understanding and good neighbourly relations.
