Talks on cooperation between Serbian Armed Forces and NATO
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, talked today in Belgrade to Major General Francesco Diella, Director of the Cooperative Security Division of the NATO International Military Staff. The meeting discussed current political and security situation in the region, the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR and the participation in joint Partnership for Peace programme activities.
Participants in the meeting indicated their readiness to continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest and expressed expectation that overall relations will continue to develop within the Partnership for Peace programme, fully respecting Serbia’s policy of military neutrality.
Major General Diella will also attend a meeting with representatives of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, where the capabilities of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre, participation of the Serbian Armed Forces in multinational operations and their involvement in the Operational Capabilities Concept will be presented.
