Serbian and Turkish armed forces conduct joint training
Members of the Serbian 63rd Parachute Brigade and the Turkish 2nd Commando Brigade have conducted joint parachute training in Ankara.
The goal of the training, which was carried out at the Training Centre of the Turkish Special Forces Command, was to enhance the capabilities of parachute units and exchange experiences in performing certain segments of parachute training.
In accordance with the training program, joint freefall jumps were carried out using paragliders and employing oxygen equipment.
Preparation for the jumps, which included practicing emergency procedures in case of parachute failure, canopy control, landing navigation and group flying, was carried out using the most modern methods, simulators and an air tunnel available at the Ankara Training Centre.
