Minister of Defence extends congratulations on the occasion of Military Technical Institute Day
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of 3rd November – the Military Technical Institute Day which reads:
“I congratulate all members of the Military Technical Institute the 3rd November – the Institute Day.
Serbia owes you a debt of gratitude for using your knowledge and skills for decades to strengthen and advance our armed forces, but also for having stayed and worked strenuously for your country even in challenging and difficult times, which are fortunately behind you.
By working diligently, you have managed to preserve the reputation that this institution has enjoyed worldwide since its founding, and today, reinforced by young researchers, you continue to inspire great respect. Your knowledge is the treasure of the Serbian Armed Forces. The energy and effort you put into the development of weapons, which are the product of domestic intelligence, are our pride at home and abroad. I am especially happy that we were able to reinforce the Military Technical Institute by hiring a large number of young people, but also to provide higher salaries and better working conditions for all members.
I am convinced that by achieving notable results in the field of weapons and military equipment research and development, you will continue to contribute to the modernization and strengthening of the operational capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces. I congratulate you on the holiday, giving you my promise that the Government will continue investing in you."
