New issue of "ОDBRANA"

We have prepared a large number of interesting topics for the November issue of the "Odbrana" magazine. The past month was marked by intensive international military cooperation activities, which mostly took place on the sidelines of "Partner", the International Arms and Military Equipment Fair, and the Non-Aligned Movement Summit. The IN FOCUS section covers two very important meetings that Minister Stefanović had with the Austrian and Turkish ministers of defence, as well as activities in the defence system, which made October another very dynamic month in the year that is nearing its end.

The STANDING POINT section is dedicated to the sixtieth anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement, whose Belgrade summit was opened by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, with the words "welcome home".
The extremely informative SYSTEM section contains articles about the activities of the Serbian Armed Forces units that have been training over the past month for the most demanding tasks. The 63rd Parachute Brigade marked its day at the "Sergeant-Pilot Mihajlo Petrović" military airport in Niš. Members of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade successfully conducted a live fire drill against aerial and ground targets together with their colleagues from the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, as evidenced by the attractive photos taken by our photo reporters. Simultaneously, Serbian pilots successfully performed the flight-tactical exercise BARS 2021 for the sixth time, together with their Russian colleagues. The exercise was traditionally marked by exceptional training, good communication and the spirit of friendship between Serbian and Russian pilots.

The Serbian Armed Forces have reinforced their echelon of reservists. This is exactly the title of the article about the completion of the training of reservists who had not performed their military service under arms. The SYSTEM section also contains a text about the International Advanced First Aid Course at the Logistics Training Centre, as well as a story about the River Flotilla’s celebration of their Saint Patron’s Day. The central section of the "Odbrana" magazine also contains an article about "Field Marshal Radomir Putnik" National Defence School, which was named after the celebrated Serbian military leader on August 10 this year, as well as a text by Colonel Mirjana Milenković, PhD, about two decades of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre which marks its day on November 17th.

The SYSTEM section closes with a compelling story about the "Tetris Challenge" in the 98th Air Brigade. "Responding to the Demands of the 21st Century Battlefield” is the title of the text in the ARSENAL section, which gives a detailed 12-page retrospect of what we saw at "Partner 2021", the largest arms and military equipment fair.

In the November issue of your magazine, you will also find out which Odbrana’s photo (published in European military magazines) won the European Military Press Association Award (EMPA). In addition to the text about the 73rd anniversary of the Zastava Film Military Film Centre, the CULTURE section also brings the atmosphere from the premiere of their latest documentary "They Defended the Sky of the Fatherland". In the CULTURE section, read about the European Heritage Days that were marked at the Central Military Club.

In the HISTORY section, read the text by Mirjana Novaković Munišević about Tadija Sondermajer, the aviator who was remembered as a great patriot and a man who raised the national aviation to such a level that was respected by all generations that followed.

There are many reasons to get your own copy of the November issue of "Odbrana" on time.
