Congratulatory Message of Minister of Defence on the Occasion of Armoured Units’ Day
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović PhD sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of 31st October – the Armoured Units’ Day which reads:
“I congratulate 31st October – the Day of Branch to all members of the armoured units.
It is precisely eight decades since a platoon consisting of two tanks was engaged during the fight for the liberation of Kraljevo. From that time onward, members of one of the most significant Army branches have demonstrated numerous times that they are extremely well trained, capable, and brave soldiers of our Serbia.
That is why the state will continue strongly investing in equipment and modernisation of our armoured units, and in betterment of working conditions and living standard of their members, because they truly deserve it.
Wishing that you continue achieving notable results in the future, enhancing both your branch and the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole, I wholeheartedly congratulate this jubilee to all the members of the armoured units.”
