Meeting between Minister Stefanović and Turkish Ambassador Aksoy



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, met today with the Ambassador of Turkey to Serbia, Hami Aksoy, to discuss defence cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Stefanović expressed hope that his upcoming official visit to Ankara and the meeting with the Minister of Defence of Turkey will contribute to the improvement of defence cooperation and the overall relations between the two countries. He particularly emphasized the determination to further develop military-economic and military-technical cooperation.
 
Ambassador Aksoy said that bilateral relations between the two countries are a good basis for intensifying defence cooperation and expressed deep conviction that Minister Stefanović’s upcoming visit to Turkey will contribute to strengthening understanding between the two militaries and determining goals for future cooperation.
