Minister Stefanović on campaign of lies and pressures
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović’s statement:
"I have spoken about the lies of Dragan Đilas and Marinika Tepić many times over the years, pointing out the absurdity of their fabrications about President Vučić. Their continuous campaign of lies is obviously intensifying at a time when there is great pressure on Serbia, when President Vučić is fighting for the sovereignty of Serbia and Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija in difficult situations and with a bitter legacy bequeathed to us by Đilas and his government until 2012.
They are supported by "Srpski Telegraf" and "Objektiv", tabloids guided by the ideas of the tycoon who is, in essence, the owner of "Objektiv". Trying to create confusion, they are essentially taking the side of the Kosovo Albanians, joining in the political pressure on Serbia and spreading lies, which have already been dismantled and exposed.
Of course, they are doing this in the manner of Đilas. They cover the same topics and write in the same way as Dragan Đilas, but they also behave in the same way as Dragan Đilas did when he was in power. By creating certain tabloids, they try to exert political pressure and implement a business idea, either to cut some deal by putting pressure on people who exercise power, i.e. have certain responsibilities in the state structure, or to cover up their cooperation with Veljko Belivuk’s clan and frequent visits to Belivuk, which was documented by the state authorities, like the tycoon who is behind the "Objektiv" tabloid.
Of course, I expect the state to solve this situation and true motives to be uncovered so that Serbia can hear the whole truth on this matter as well."
