Minister Stefanović at Military Army Games closing ceremony in Moscow



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, attended tonight the International Army Games closing ceremony in the "Patriot" Congress and Exhibition Centre near Moscow. Teams from 42 countries participated in one of the largest military competitions in the world, competing in a total of 34 disciplines, and this year, for the first time, Serbia was one of the 11 co-organizing countries where this prestigious competition took place.
  This year, members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces achieved excellent results at the International Army Games. Our team won a convincing victory in the "Guardian of Order" military police competition held in Kraljevo, and we took third place in the "Military Rally" contest held in eastern Russia. Also, our members took one first and two third places in the "Army of Culture" contest in Moscow.
Tonight, Minister Stefanović also visited the Museum of the International Army Games together with the Russian Deputy Defence Minister Colonel General Alexander Fomin, and Deputy Tatiana Shevtsova.
