Defence Minister’s congratulations message on the occasion of River Units Day
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, sent a congratulations message on the occasion of August 6 - River Units Day that reads:
“I congratulate all members of the river units on their branch day - August 6.
With your work, sense of responsibility and professional approach to work, you have been a symbol of one of the most representative branches of the Serbian Armed Forces since the very beginning of the formation of the Serbian River Flotilla.
Thanks to a high degree of expertise and training, which you show in performing daily tasks, as well as active participation in national and multinational exercises, you have shown readiness to respond to modern challenges and protect natural resources of inland waterways.
I congratulate you on your anniversary, hoping that you will continue to perform the tasks that lie ahead with equal success."
