Minister Stefanović holds a meeting on projects crucial for GDP growth
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, held a preparatory meeting with associates today for the session of the Council for Coordination of Activities and Measures for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Growth.
The dynamics of realization of the most important infrastructure projects in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces were discussed at the meeting, and Minister Stefanović expressed satisfaction with their realization so far and with the activities planned for the coming period, that influence GDP growth in Serbia.
It was pointed out at the meeting that the realization of infrastructure projects and the development of the domestic defence industry were the MOD’s greatest contributions to Serbia’s GDP.The meeting was attended by State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Branko Živanović, Ministry of Defence Secretary Milica Ćatić, Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, Assistant Minister for Budget and Finance Katarina Pavičić, Head of the Defence Minister’s Office Colonel Stevan Kotarlić and Head of the Infrastructure Department Colonel Slobodan Starčević.
