Minister Stefanović: Today, on Pešter, it was shown that we have serious armed forces
After successfully completed Joint tactical exercise “Momentary Strike 2021”, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović PhD, congratulated the members of Serbian Armed Forces who had shown today that they are ready to respond to any challenge and protect Serbia at any time.
“You have demonstrated a high level of competence and training and you successfully responded to a highly complex task. With demonstrated skill, which speaks volumes about their dedication to the preservation of security and safety of our fatherland, they earned a high evaluation that they received from President of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, which is something they are very proud of” Minister Stefanović said.
The minister of defence pointed out that the exercise that had been conducted since 15th June on eight locations all over Serbia was an excellent opportunity to test operational capabilities of commands and units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
“It also showed the amount of investments made over last several years in the equipment and armament of our men, which is why I would like to extend my particular gratitude to our engineers, institutes and defence industry that played a great part in the modernisation of the armed forces. Today, on Pešter, it was clearly shown that we have serious armed forces, which protect our country with their force and deter everyone who even dares think to threaten it” Stefanović stated.
He underlined that “it is only strong armed forces, which we have today, that can guarantee a strong Serbia – a Serbia whose citizens will live in peace, a secure and stable country which is able to make decisions exclusively in the interest of its people and to continue being built and developed”.
