Everything is Ready for “Lightning Strike 2021” on Pešter
On the temporary training area “Pešter, more than 2300 members of the Serbian Armed Forces have continued their intensive exercise activities which are, on Sunday, 27th June, to culminate in a joint exercise of a reinforced tactical group in executing an assault operation.
On this location, the exercise is to be carried out by the Army units, the units of Air Force and Air Defence, 72nd Special Operations Brigade and 63rd Parachute Brigade, with the use of tanks, combat vehicles, artillery systems and weapons, aeroplanes, remotely operated aircraft, AD systems and organic weapons of Infantry and Special Operations units.Today, the exercise activities conducted on the Pešter Plateau within the joint live firing tactical exercise “Momentary Strike 2021”, were attended by Chief of General Staff General Milan Mojsilović, who was, on that occasion, assured of the high level of training and synergy of all branches of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The joint live firing exercise “Momentary Strike 2021” is conducted through the cooperation of units of both arms of the Serbian Armed forces on several locations all over the country, aimed аt testing operational capabilities to respond to challenges, risks and threats to the security of the citizens of the Republic of Serbia.
