Succes of MoD and SAF athletes
Captain I Class, Nevena Jovanović, a member of the Special Purpose Military Police Detachment “Kobre“, won a convincing victory in the 12th Friendship Race at 5 and 10 km, which was held in Kula on Saturday.
In the female category, Lieutenant Marina Radovanović from the Signal Brigade won fifth place, while Corporal Đuro Borbelj from the First Army Brigade took fourth place in the male category in the 10 km race.
Fifty-three members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces participated in the 12th Friendship Race, organized by the Athletic Club Hajduk from Kula and under the auspices of the Municipality of Kula.
Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces were also successful in the 5 and 10 km races at the Novi Sad “Frtalj Marathon”, which was held on Sunday. In the 10 km race, civilian employee Ksenija Bubnjević from the Military Academy took first place in the female category, while Sergeant Ivan Jeremić from the 72nd Special Operations Brigade took second place in the male category. Captain Nikola Milosavljević from the 72nd Special Operations Brigade took third place in the 5 km race.
