Human Resources Sector
The Human Resources Sector is one of the principal inner units of the Ministry of Defence responsible for:
- prescriptive regulation of the organization and management of organizational changes
- prescriptive regulation of the planning and preparation for mobilization
- issues relating to the status of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces
- planning the education and advanced training for defence and security jobs in the country and abroad
- planning the preparations for the defence of the Republic of Serbia
- planning and training citizens and general civil protection units for the defence of the country
- military service, compulsory labour and requisition
- museum activities
- tradition, culture, ethics, social and humanitarian issues within the defence system
- addressing veterans’ needs
- housing provision
- promoting gender equality in the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and implementing an equal opportunities policy
The Human Resources Sector comprises the following organizational units: Organisation Department, Personnel Department, Defence Obligations Department, Department for Tradition, Standard and Veterans and Office for Gender Equality.
Acting Assistant Minister for Human Resources is Siniša Radović.
