Active phase of exercise „Slavic Brotherhood 2021 “
The second, active phase of the "Slavic Brotherhood 2021" exercise with members of the Serbian special forces, and Russian and Belarusian armed forces participating, has begun at the Raevsky training ground near Novorossiysk, the Russian Federation.
In this phase, which consists of two stages, a joint training in performing special actions is conducted and competence for performing work assignments is demonstrated, followed by joint tactical live fire exercise, which brings this year's exercise to an end.
Members of the Serbian 72nd Special Operations Brigade and 63rd Parachute Brigade are participating in the exercise.“Slavic Brotherhood”, a trilateral exercise with participants from the Serbian, Russian and Belarusian armed forces, has been conducted once a year, since 2015. The exercise was conducted in Serbia in 2016 and 2019.
