Tête-à-tête between Minister Stefanović and Secretary of State for Defence Wallace



A tête-à-tête between the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, and the UK Secretary of State for Defence Ben Wallace is underway. Later today, talks will take place between the two delegations in the Old General Staff building.
 
Minister Stefanović thanked Defence Secretary Wallace for accepting his invitation to visit our country and expressed satisfaction at the opportunity to host the first visit of a UK Defence Secretary to the Republic of Serbia.
  Stefanović and Wallace agreed that today's meeting was extremely important for the further development of bilateral defence relationship between Serbia and the United Kingdom, as well as the improvement of overall relations between the two countries.

After the meeting, the two officials will sign the Defence Cooperation Arrangement, and address the media.
