Tactical exercise "Signal 2021"
Members of the 21st Army Signal Battalion have conducted the tactical exercise "Signal 2021" at several locations throughout the Republic of Serbia.
The five-day exercise was designed to check the unit members’ level of competence for ensuring continuous and proper functioning of the telecommunications and information system and the protection of information for Army Command’s needs.The signalmen practised actions and procedures when setting up and relocating mobile telecommunications and information centre in specific weather conditions and terrain. They practised giving the alert, marching, selecting positions, setting up centre components, camouflaging and establishing telecommunications and information services.
As part of the exercise, the unit’s ability to carry out special-purpose tasks was checked, and the 21st Signal Battalion personnel once again showed a high level of competence.
