Minister Stefanović wishes success to military marathon runners
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, wished a lot of success to all members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces participating in the 34th Belgrade Marathon. A total of 109 members of the defence system will run a marathon and a half marathon today.
- I want to thank you for fighting day and night for a safe, stable and better Serbia in your military roles. We are all the more proud of you for participating in today's Belgrade Marathon. We are with you with all our hearts! - Minister Stefanović told the members before the marathon.A total of 79 members of the Armed Forces and the Ministry, 25 Military Academy cadets and five Military Grammar School students will run a marathon and a half marathon today, and as the Minister of Defence said, another 100 Military Academy cadets and 40 Military Grammar School students will be involved as technical support.
- They will help Belgrade present the best possible image to the world and show that it is a great host. Our young people, both the ones participating in the races and the ones responsible for helping the organization, prove once again that the future of our armed forces and our Serbia is bright - Stefanović said.
