Minister Stefanović strongly condemns threats directed at President Vučić
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, has strongly condemned the death threats made to the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vučić, via social media by a person who is on the wanted list for committing several crimes.
“I am convinced that the security services will take all measures within their competence to bring to justice the person who threatened President Vučić in the shortest possible time." I also expect that our Military Security Agency and our elite Kobre unit will immediately take further measures to fully protect the president's life so that his fight for a sovereign and independent Serbia that makes its own decisions is not burdened by such terrible threats," Minister Stefanović said.
Such threats, he pointed out, especially coming from persons who are perpetrators of several criminal acts, must not be left without the strongest, most direct and appropriate response from the state.
