Minister Stefanović with Military Grammar School and Secondary Vocational Military School students
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, visited today students who attend the Military Grammar School and Secondary Vocational Military School, whom he joined for breakfast at the military hall of residence.
The Minister talked to the students about their schooling conditions, accommodation and food, but also about their plans for the future. In the conversation with Minister Stefanović, the young people who attend these schools mainly expressed interest in jobs in the Air Force and Air Defence, but also in the field of military electronic engineering.
“There is no better way to start a working week than by having breakfast with the Military Grammar School and the Secondary Vocational Military School students. These young people are our future and I am proud of their incredible strength, energy and, most importantly, patriotism," the Minister wrote on his Facebook account.
Let us remind you, attending military schools has numerous advantages, from free textbooks to free accommodation and food, to a guaranteed job after graduation. At this year's competition for enrolment in the Secondary Vocational Military School, as many as five candidates applied for one place, and four for the Military Grammar School, which speaks volumes about the interest of young people.
