Serbia's donation to EU missions in Somalia and Central African Republic



Serbia’s senior national representatives in EU peacekeeping missions in Somalia and the Central African Republic, Lieutenant Colonels Nebojša Stojanović and Aleksandar Ljubičić handed over Covid-19 medical equipment to mission commanders.
On behalf of the EUTM Somalia, the donation was received by the Mission Force Commander, Brigadier General Fabiano Zinzone, while the donation for the EUTM RCA was handed over to the Mission Force Commander, Brigadier General Paulo Neves de Abreu.

The Mission Force Commander of the EUTM Somalia thanked Serbia for the donation, emphasizing that the Serbian medical teams that had been present in Somalia since the very beginning of the mission, had a very important role in carrying out mission tasks.

While receiving the donation, the Mission Force Commander of the EUTM RCA expressed gratitude to the Republic of Serbia for the donation at a time when the epidemiological situation in the host country, as well as among the participants in the mission was deteriorating on a daily basis.
