Assistant Minister for Material Resources Miloradović visits Cypriot Ministry of Defence
A delegation representing the Ministry of Defence led by Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources Nenad Miloradović, PhD, is on a visit to the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus, where representatives of the National Guard and the Ministry of Defence will discuss the ongoing and future military technical and military economic cooperation projects.
At the beginning of the visit, Assistant Minister Miloradović met with the Cypriot National Guard Commander, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, and the Permanent Secretary of the Cypriot Ministry of Defence, Andreas Louka. At the meeting, they analysed mutual cooperation in the field of weapons and military equipment and agreed that it was at a high level, also confirming mutual readiness to jointly continue its strengthening and improvement. The possibility of cooperation within the European security initiatives was also discussed.
The Republic of Cyprus is Serbia’s important partner in the field of military economic and military technical cooperation, and it was concluded that the areas and scope of cooperation have significantly broadened in the past period. The visit of the Ministry of Defence representatives and the meetings held will help continue and further develop the existing cooperation.
