Minister Stefanović visits Aeronautical Museum
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, visited the Aeronautical Museum in Belgrade today and talked to the management and staff about the possibility of investing in its infrastructure, and ways to improve the museum’s operation so that as many visitors as possible could see its outstanding collection.
During the visit, the minister was shown the permanent exhibition consisting of original airplanes, helicopters, aircraft engines and other equipment that represent various periods in the history of our military and civil aviation.
Stefanović also visited the Museum’s cinema and archive storage, and the professional Boeing 737-800 flight simulator was presented to him.
The Aeronautical Museum, which is in many ways a treasure trove of the history of aviation, was also visited by State Secretary Branko Živanović, Assistant Minister of Defence Predrag Bandić, Assistant Minister of Human Resources Katarina Tomašević and Air Force and Air Defence Commander Major General Duško Žarković.
At the end of today's visit, Head of the Museum Major Draško Živković, presented Minister Stefanović with the book entitled "Wings of Serbia".
