Military clearing local roads in Municipality of Crna Trava
The Fourth Army Brigade’s engineer task group has been clearing snow since this morning from the local road to the village of Malčište, about 15 km away from the centre of Crna Trava.
Using snow-ploughs, members of the Serbian Armed Forces managed to break through to Malčište this evening, and a hard job of removing snow and making the road passable for vehicles awaits them tomorrow.
The Serbian Armed Forces’ assistance is necessary because the snowfall and snow deposits have made it impossible for more than a thousand residents of that area to leave their homes for nine days, and the machines owned by the Municipality of Crna Trava could not respond to such a great challenge, despite all the efforts.
