Minister Stefanović extends best wishes for International Women’s Day – 8th March
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, congratulated female members of the Ministry of Defence, Serbian Armed Forces and all women in Serbia on the International Women’s Day – 8th March.
“International Women's Day is celebrated on 8 March around the world. It is a holiday that celebrates you, brave, determined and strong women, without whom this world could not breathe in the same way. It could not exist, because you create it, but you also help make it a better place“, Stefanović said. Minister of Defence wished all women in Serbia lots of happiness, respect and success.
“You are the driving force and pillars of your families and the organisation you work for. I would like to thank you today for fighting bravely for Serbia, and for making our military stronger and better by investing your knowledge, skills, huge energy and hard work, side by side with your male colleagues. I am proud of you being a part of our defence system and serving Serbia!“, Stefanović said in his message to female members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces.
