Minister of Defence meets with Serbia's Defence Attachés
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Nebojša Stefanović, PhD, attended today a regular annual consultation with Serbia’s defence attaches where he was informed about the most important processes and phenomena in the receiving states affecting Serbia’s security and interests.
“Serbia’s position in the region and the world is still vulnerable, primarily due to our efforts to preserve military neutrality and territorial integrity”, Minister Stefanović said, speaking about the priorities of our defence attaché offices.
Accession to the EU is still Serbia’s foreign policy priority, Minister of Defence said, emphasizing that defence attaché offices had another important task - to provide support to Serbia’s defence industry, as a very significant factor in our country’s economy.
The consultation with the defence attaches was also attended by Slavoljub Dabić, Inspector General of the Services, Ministry of Defence, and Brigadier General Zoran Stojković, Military Intelligence Agency Director.
