Head of Hungarian Armed Forces’ Medical Corps visits Military Health Department
Representatives of the Military Health Department headed by Colonel Zoran Šegrt, Prof. met today with the delegation representing the Hungarian Armed Forces’ Medical Corps led by Brigadier General Istvan Kopco, MD.
The meeting was an opportunity for an exchange of experiences with the Covid-19 epidemiological situation, the organization of treatment in military health institutions and the operation of temporary and military Covid hospitals.
While presenting military health’s scope of work, great emphasis was placed on excellent organization of the immunization process in Serbia, which provided vaccines by four different producers to its citizens, including members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, thus putting our country among the most successful European countries. There was also talk about possible improvement of cooperation between the two countries in the field of military medicine.
Hungarian delegation ended its visit by making a tour of the “Karaburma“ Military Covid Hospital and the “Štark Arena“ temporary Covid hospital.
