- Thanks to the domestic expertise, the Military Technical Institute and “Prva Petoletka”, “Jugoimport SDPR”, “Jumko” and “FAP” factories with which we have signed contracts, the production of new “Pasars” systems, digitalized and upgraded “Oganj”, “Little Miloš” and new ballistic uniforms for soldiers will start – Minister Stefanović emphasized.
According to the Minister of Defence, one of the vehicles whose production and delivery has been arranged is the new BOV OT armoured vehicle intended for the protection of soldiers, which would significantly increase our army’s efficiency in the next two years.
- I am glad to see that people are working day and night without rest, that they are working even in these complex circumstances of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic, and complying with protection measures, they achieve good results. Also, I expect that contracts for the purchase of the new "Lazar" and "Miloš" vehicles will be signed next week. We will continue investing in equipment, personnel and their protection, because the military is the strongest pillar of Serbia's defence - said Minister Stefanović.
